About This Role

We are looking for a highly efficient, energetic, and resourceful Customer Experience Representative. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include handling inquiries, complaints and feedback from customers, coordinating with dog owners on their scheduling and grooming needs, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from start to finish. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly to and manage inbounds from existing customers using our established processes

  • Coordinate with pet parents  to understand their dog's needs, schedule, and required grooming services

  • Book Barkbus pet stylists for appointments and reschedule as necessary due to customer cancellations

  • Send and collect customer invoices and payments for completed grooming services

  • Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to troubleshoot scheduling issues or address other customer questions

  • Work with internal teams to improve systems, processes, and software for managing customers and groomers

  • Manage support through phone, sms, and email

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of work experience in customer support or a related field

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

  • Highly detail-oriented with a positive attitude and strong customer management skills

  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with a reliable internet connection and a well-functioning computer equipped with a suitable headset for phone/voice communication

  • Extensive experience working with a CRM software (training will be provided if needed)

  • Fun, hardworking, and close-knit team player with a commitment to improving the lives of our customers and employees

  • Must be available to work on weekends  

  • Must love dogs!

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $5-$8, based on experience.
