Giving Home Health Care has an opening for a dedicated Assistant Director Of Nursing! Based in Remote, this role is available for an immediate start. The role has a strong focus on Administrative health care experience. We offer a $85k - $95k per Year.

We have an immediate need for a Director of Nursing to join our Kansas City office. The ideal candidate has experience in a hospital or medical office setting.

Job Description:
  • The DON position will be directly overseen by our Administrator and may perform the following tasks:
  • Be a member of our Nurse Advisory Committee
  • Be a member of our Clinical Leadership Team
  • Perform Medication Review/Reconciliation for our high acuity patients
  • Perform Patient Home Visits on an as needed basis to assist with various problem resolution
  • Provide Oversight and Education based on Patient/Caregiver Incidents
  • Provide Oversight for Nurse Supervisory Visits as required by the State of New Mexico
  • Provide education to patients regarding benefits of program
  • Provide Oversight/Education to Case Management regarding required monthly patient updates/documentation
  • Work with our Compliance Manager as well as our Staffing Director in maintaining up to date documentation on our contracted nurses (both LPNs & RNs) that are out in the field.
  • Some light travel required
  • May be assigned other duties by supervisor


Qualifications:

To Succeed, You'll Need:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • RN License (Required)
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred)
  • DOL/DEEOICPA program preferred?
  • At least two (2) years of administrative experience in health care administration, at least two (2) years of home care experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Must have a valid compact nursing license
  • Must provide resume with proof of work experience and references
