The Cannabis Business Advisors is looking for a talented Marketing Assistant! This is an exciting Remote opportunity with an immediate start. You'll leverage your skills in Social media proficiency to succeed. This position comes with a salary of $40k - $50k per Year.

Marketing Assistants support the digital media staff to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue. The duties and responsibilities of a Marketing Assistant include:

• Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
• Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites
• Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets
• Support marketing team at live and online events
• Perform marketing research
• Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms
• Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
• Create compelling graphics to share across social channels
• Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience
• Help create and edit short-form videos
• Develop new strategies for increasing engagement
• Assist with photo/video content shoots
• Ensure brand message is consistent

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field
• Social Media Proficiency
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Word Doc, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Knowledge of tools like Mailchimp, Hootsuite, HubSpot Marketing is a plus
