Mercier Consultancy is in search of a dedicated German Speaking Customer Service Representative to join our Home Improvement & DIY Tools Department for one of our clients. In this essential Entry Level role, you will provide outstanding support to our German-speaking customers, assisting them with inquiries related to our range of home improvement and DIY tools.
Your fluency in German will be key as you guide customers through product selection, order placement, and troubleshooting any issues they may encounter. You will play an important role in ensuring that our customers have an exceptional experience with our products and services.
Responsibilities
Primary Accountabilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries in German via phone, email, and chat regarding home improvement and DIY tools
- Assist customers with product selection, order management, and service-related questions
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in our CRM system
- Collaborate with the logistics and product teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Collect and relay customer feedback to help improve our product offerings and services
- Stay informed about industry trends and new products in home improvement and DIY tools
- Fluent in both German and English, with strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving capabilities
- Previous experience in customer service, particularly in home improvement or retail, is preferred
- Able to handle multiple inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Passion for home improvement and DIY projects, with a desire to help customers succeed
- Familiarity with customer support software and CRM systems is advantageous
